Software Facts (One - 1)

Most software development projects fail:

1) One-third of software projects are cancelled

2) 2/3 of software projects are considered failures.

3) Half of the software projects exceed estimated budget.

Few Reasons:

1) Features fall short of expectations+

Most software projects do not meet client expectations. The excuse is ‘deadline rush’. But, 2/3 of projects actually follow this excuse.

2) Poor Interface:

Project does not have certain look and feel or customer expected keyboard shortcuts which were not mentioned explicitly.

Remember, Users always need more in less time.

Thus, we always have war of Features vs Usability.
